Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit-Canton

Great hotel a little disappointed with the gentlemen at check in. Handed me the key no directions to the elevator or what time breakfast was just a here you go. Otherwise everything was good.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Canton, MI! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. From check-in to check-out, the service made me feel truly valued as a guest. My hotel room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day. You can tell the team takes pride in keeping the property in great condition. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely stay here again!

Typical Hampton Inn. The lobby and breakfast area well kept, the room was clean, and the hot breakfast was good. (Lots of options. My wife really likes the coffee.)

They're going thru a small renovation on the 4th floor. No noise at night though. We were on the 3rd floor and the need to update was evident. Nothing was bad, at all. But the carpet was warn and thin in several places. That said, it was a very pleasant stay. Good breakfast selection and friendly staff. Would be happy to stay again

It was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. It was extremely clean, all the staff was friendly and the breakfast had more options then I've seen before. They even let you take it back to your room, when most hotels don't. We got the whirlpool tub room, it was only a little more money but it was so nice. Being able to relax in the tub and watch TV with my fiance was by far one of my favorite vacations.

This place is close to EVERYTHING. Food, theaters, shopping. You name it, Canton has it. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is nice, too. The hotel looks like it's still under renovation but don't let that stop you. It is quiet, has a refrigerator and microwave, a small sink for dishes, a little area for food and the housekeeping staff is nice if you need anything. One of my favorite hotels in the area.

stayed one night on 11/24/25. Room was nice, everything else was OK, just a place to crash for work. My card was double charged and am still trying correct.

The location is great, close to the freeway and shopping, dining options. The rooms are upgraded, but booked solid bc of renovations on the 2nd floor mainly, but also on 4. The lobby/breakfast area is super cozy, fireplace (wasn’t on), lots of high top tables and booths, even a lounge comfy couch. We did have one hiccup… I went down stairs just after bfast and asked if I could fill my water bottle from the machine in the breakfast area and the lady cleaning up promptly said no and then lead me to the drinking fountain. That would have been fine, but the fountain water was super cloudy and I assume it was from them turning the water off and on again. We ended up getting water from the machine in the fitness center. A while later my husband came down and asked if there was water anywhere and the front desk lady told him the market place, and had him charge water to the room!!! Its water!!! Super irritated about that, but they did have fresh cookies at the front desk in the evening. The front desk lady wasn’t very welcoming upon our arrival, but there was another gentleman on staff who was super sweet on the break room and another employee who was delightful this morning when we went down. I’d stay here again, but they need to have a better solution for the water… at least have a water dispenser at the front desk. Most all other Hilton properties have it.
